Ormskirk FC looking for new Coaches and Managers

Posted on 11th January 2018 by Ormskirk FC

We currently have 25 teams at the club and are always looking for new volunteer Coaches and Managers to join us.

We have teams and sessions from Under 5s (reception) and older, all the way up to our adult team. If you're looking to get involved with coaching for the first time to assist an existing coach, or if you're wanting to manage your own team, we have opportunities available for everyone.

No previous experience or qualifications are needed

No previous experience or qualifications are needed, and we will provide all the help and support that is needed. We take care of the FA Criminal Records Checks, we provide all the necessary kit and equipment, and we put Managers through their FA Level 1 coaching badge.

The main things we need from our Coaches and Managers are commitment and reliability.

Types of Coaches and Managers

A lot of our Managers and Coaches are parents or relatives of children in the teams. If you can't find a team for your child (we have teams looking for players at the moment), then how about starting a new team with us? We're always open to putting new teams together. Managers can decide what day they train on, where they train, what day they play matches on, and what league they play in.

We also have student coaches that coach with us to build up their experience and coaching hours, whether it be for the Duke of Edinburgh, University or College courses, or for their own enjoyment and personal development.
