Ormskirk FC Announce Exciting Merger with Burscough FC
Ormskirk FC are proud to announce our merger with Burscough FC. This is an incredibly exciting opportunity for the club, and we are thrilled with the future plans that have been laid out.
Our ambition has always been to create the best footballing experiences for our players, providing a clear pathway for them to reach their potential and play at the higher level.
Ormskirk FC Chairman Kevin Duffy said, "This is an opportunity too good to turn down. We are blown away by the future plans for the club and look forward to contributing to a brighter future and creating more opportunities for our players."
Burscough FC Chairman Paul Gilchrist added,"We look forward to welcoming Ormskirk FC members, their teams and supporters to the Club. Over the last 12-18 months, we have worked tirelessly to enhance facilities at the ground and build a better experience for all concerned. The merger with Ormskirk FC will undoubtedly bring more people into the ground and we are excited to be increasing our community hub"
The merger will take effect immediately, and we are already planning for the 2024/25 season.
