Ormskirk FC U9s Play against Liverpool FC at the LFC Academy
It was a fantastic experience for our Ormskirk FC U9s to play against Liverpool FC U8s at the LFC Academy in Kirkby this evening.
Liverpool have some of the top Under 8s players in the country, and this group signed their first contracts with Liverpool only last week. It was a great opportunity for our players to test themselves against such quality players.
We played 4 x 17.5 minute matches against the two Liverpool teams. The games were really good and our players ran their socks off to give the Liverpool teams as good a game as they could.
On behalf of the parents and players, we want to thank Wayne, Charlie's Dad, for helping to arrange our visit to the Academy today, and thanks to the coaches at Liverpool FC for having us.
