Ormskirk FC U9s play Everton FC Ladies
It was a good experience for one of our Ormskirk FC U9s teams to play against Everton FC Ladies at their academy session tonight.
Our players had a chance to test themselves against some of the best Under 9s girls in the country, with 4 x 15 minute matches at their academy training facility close to Goodison.
The matches were all really close, and it was good to see how strong and skilful the girls were.
One of our players, Elizabeth, currently plays for Everton FC Ladies (she played for them on the night too), which is how this friendly came about. Special thanks to her Dad, Gary, for helping to arrange these matches for us, and thanks to the Everton FC Academy coaches for having us.
