We specialise in steak and buy the best, tender heifers - no tough bull meat - then age it properly for 3 to 6 weeks to allow the flavour to intensify and the collagen to break down, resulting in tender, tasty, succulent steaks.
Our chicken is ‘proper’ chicken with no added water, just great-tasting poultry for you to enjoy plain, or finished in the shop with one of our lovely marinades, one of which has won the ' Great Taste Awards' for the last couple of years.
We use a national award-winning Pork, which is the main ingredient in all our home-made sausage. We also home-cure our own bacon and offer a smoked bacon which is smoked in a shed for four weeks the old way - we don’t believe in meat injected with 'Liquid Smoke.'
Our opening hours are Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm, Saturday 9am-4pm & Sunday 10am-3pm (closed on Mondays).
