Susan Jones Support Fund

Susan Jones sadly passed away in 2016. Her journey to survive started when she was diagnosed in March with Acute lymphoblastic leukaemia, also known as acute lymphocytic leukaemia (ALL), which is an acute form of leukaemia, or cancer of the white blood cells.

Her family and friends were told that this form of cancer is very common in children (85%) but only (15%) of adults get it approximately, 600 per year.

Sue’s outlook was positive and although each day was a struggle she battled on and not only shocked us all but also her consultants and nurses at the Fazackerley hospital near Liverpool with her bravery and will to live.
